Just Another Day in Paradise

My life recently

2/01/2013

Time chugs on. As I realize that I am not such a screw up. I have givin birth to two beautiful healthy little monkeys, got married to a man that I couldn't live without. Oh, well. My thoughts just had gotten gray, and small. Anyway, I'd like to think about something else. Like cooking. Yeah, food again. When are you gonna stop thinking about food, woman? Oh, what about cleaning? Hmmmm.

Everything seems pretty good these days. My daughter has been cooperating very well on going to the potty. I can't complain. We've been giving her lots of hugs, kisses, and big applauses. Well, I am about to pass out but I gotta watch my monkeys. I cannot fall asleep. I stayed up late last night, worked on my blog, and watched movies with my husband.

Anyway, three nights ago, Mother Nature gave us some heavy storm. I just thought it was just a semi scary but I guess it wasn't. And the tornado siren here in our place went off intermittently. I got scared and gathered both babies in the front room and watched the NOAA wheather forecast on my computer while the Ice Age movie keep them entertained. A few minutes later, the power went off. I went ahead and grabbed our comforters and flash light, ran back to my computer and took the kids to the tub (because we don't have a basement). They sure thought that we were just playing. But Jj was wondering why we're on the tub with our comforters not water? He got fussy as you can hear his bowling-ball-head banging everywhere.

My thoughts on that time; If these things are meant to happen, I prayed to God to save my babies lives at least.

Thanks God, the storm is now over and we are all safe and sound. Okay. The usual rumbling, boring everyday basis, and superb whining has to end. Thank you all for stopping by. Have a blessed weekend, Folks!
