It was Thursday afternoon when I turned on the radio while waiting for my husband inside the vehicle. That awkward moment when you're in a good mood and you'll hear a song that'll reminds you of your family back home and you suddenly feel this lonely feelings followed by heavy watery eyes sure sucks! It immediately flashes back to those younger years with my siblings. Sitting on the couch while listening to the fm radio. My goodness, loneliness please.... give me a break. Oh, well.... this implies that right at this moment, I cannot help but think about my love ones back home.
This used to be the most requested song on the radio so many years ago.
“It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word you can light up the dark
Try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all
All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd
Old Mr. Webster could never define
What's being said between your heart and mine
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all...”

Songs can be powerful. I've lost both of my parents, and a song on the radio can bring back such memories.

I love this song. I love so much of her music. This video surprised me, though; I'd never seen it and I don't think I've ever seen her with dark hair before! I came here from the Meet and Greet Blog Hop and I really like your blog. I'm following you too. I hope you'll want to check out my blog as well. :)
